Who We Are
Founded by citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania who recognised their responsibility to national development, Youth Development Organization (YDO) works to raise awareness and provide effective solutions to the social, economic, cultural and health challenges facing communities in both urban and rural areas, particularly among youth and women. We believe government resources alone are not enough to meet these needs, so we bring government, stakeholders and communities together around social justice, fraternity and gender equality.

To promote knowledge and awareness in the fields of health, environment and agriculture.
Partnerships & Collaboration
To strengthen collaboration and partnerships with national and international youth organizations for youth empowerment.
Advocacy & Civic Leadership
To promote advocacy, accountability and civic leadership within communities.
Volunteerism & Global Citizenship
To promote a spirit of volunteerism and global citizenship among youth.
Arts & Culture
To promote community empowerment through arts and culture.
Entrepreneurship
To promote entrepreneurship skills among youth and women.
